Writing this blog has been an enlightening experience so far. I have discovered a thriving community defining a healthy form of masculinity. Men are often portrayed as toxic, robotic or buffoons. There are many men who want to change the stereotypes. They also want to understand their role in our changing culture.
I have found many resources dedicated to middle-aged men’s health. Men have been ignoring their health at their own peril. They are also the largest growing demographic dealing with depression and suicide.
The following websites are leading the way:
1. Don’t Change Much
Don’t Change Much is a non-profit run by the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation (CMHF). They inspire Canadian men to live healthier lives. The site provides reliable information and easy tips that men can act on. They want to help men value their health and stop putting it on the back burner. They also want to help society recognize the value of healthier men.
2. Heads Up Guys
